Christopher James Diwan was an associate attorney at the now defunct collection law firm, Mann Bracken.While there, he exhibited spectacular levels of incompetence and dishonesty.
For example, here's a letter Mann Bracken sent an alleged debtor.
This resulted in a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. Diwan responded, claiming Mann Bracken had no idea who the complainant was.The letter from Mann Bracken proved to be his (and eventually Mann Bracken's) undoing.
What's the explanation?
One possibility is that Chris Diwan is just inept and incompetent.
Another is that he was part of the overall scheme of shady dealings at Mann Bracken.
Either way, you do not need to retain Christopher Diwan as your attorney. If you need an attorney in one of his purported areas of expertise, call your local Bar Association for a referral, they will get you a real lawyer, not someone like Chris Diwan!
